The government is filled with Edi Rama's cousins and "young socialists" who are amazed by the prime minister...
Prime Minister Edi Rama has turned the government into an employment nursery for cousins, friends, relatives and especially for those who know how to "comb their tails as much as possible".
Yesterday, at the government meeting, there were several moves at the level of deputy ministers, where the appointment of Ilva Gjuzi as deputy minister of Tourism undoubtedly received attention. After coming out of nowhere, she became famous for her statement that Rama is 10 steps ahead of others, and this apparently electrified Bablok, who the day after immediately ordered her to become part of the cabinet. (It is not surprising to see him as a minister in the coming months).
But one name that passed without much attention was the appointment of Silda Çepe (Anagnosti) as Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs. The lady in question is a close cousin of Prime Minister Rama himself from his mother's side. She was a councilor in the municipality and head of the cabinet of the former Minister of the Interior, Saimir Tahiri. Silda Çepe is the granddaughter of the former minister of Sali Berisha, Dhimitër Anagnosti, and the wife of the former police director of Durrës and Elbasan, Alfred Çepe.
Her appointment is another indication that nepotism is rampant in government and institutions. In addition to the ministers and directors who appoint their own party, it seems that the prime minister also takes care to reward the tribe.
We say this because Çepe is Rama's second cousin who entered the government.
A little while ago, Vasilika Vjero, also Bablok's cousin, joined the cabinet. Previously, she was Director of Taxes, Director of the National Business Center and Director of the Municipality of Tirana. The latter is the clearest evidence of how this government is doing "sock jobs" due to nepotism. Notice that everywhere she has been, the institutions run by her have been "holes".
Also, the above appointments show that only relatives, friends and party people move forward. But obviously also those who know how to praise Edi Rama more. If you are not his cousin, it is enough to find space in the media and label Bablok with words of the greatest and you will probably find yourself a minister, deputy minister, director and everything else.
Then when the KLSH finds them in violation and demands that Bablok's servants, cousins and loyalists be dismissed from office, its head faces questions in the Assembly as to why he demands such measures. So this is the nepotism that has gripped the state, starting from the Council of Ministers and extending to the smallest directorate. / Pamphlet
