On October 29 of this year, Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi would celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary.

But as of today, they are officially separated, from the moment they shared the celebratory toasts in secret and with few witnesses at Tirana City Hall.

Their coronation was performed by the former mayor of the Democratic Party, Albert Brojka, on October 29, 2008, when Meta held the position of deputy prime minister in the "Majko" government and was also a member of parliament. While Monika Kryemadhi held the position of chairwoman of the socialist FESH.

These are also the photos from the moment they said "I do" to each other, giving birth to 3 more children, as well as the moment of signing and sharing the Turkish delights from Kryemadhi.

Witnesses to the celebration were the Swiss ambassador at the time, socialist MP Erion Braçe, and Ilir Meta's former advisor, later Minister of Economy and MP, Mustafa Muçi.
