After the meeting for more than 1 hour and a half with the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered his speech at the media conference.
Rama expressed his thanks to Secretary Blinken and underlined once again the importance of this visit to our country at a time of unrest for the world.
"It is always a marked day in the history of Albania's international relations, the day when a Secretary of State visits our country and in our account you are the sixth, but this time we have a special appreciation for this visit as we are very aware of this troubled situation. The fact that you found time and at the same time to stop in Tirana, is for us a very important sign of friendship but also the appreciation you give to this friendship, this partnership and this region. Of course, I cannot help but share they published my regret that between a dinner with us in Albania and a dinner in Munich you chose the not so tasty German food. We made our own. I am very pleased with the open conversation and the level of interaction and understanding between us. I feel good that this visit coincides with the end of Albania's mission in the Security Council", said Rama.
