The head of the Democratic Party parliamentary group, Gazment, has stated that Democrats should focus on the battle over what happened with the May 11 elections.
Asked about the DP's results in the Fier region where he was a political leader, and why he did not appear in public during the campaign, Bardhi said that he was in the campaign every day, and was even the only regional leader who moved to Fier a few months before the elections.
" I did my best in that campaign, I was faced with a machine that included 70 percent of key institutions because of the opponent I had in front of the public administration, I was alone with the party structure for 12 years in opposition... I was on the ground the whole time, I am the only political leader who has moved to the city of Fier with residence since January. It is true that I did not accept to appear in the media during the time when our counters were in battle for every vote, the activity is public ", said Bardhi on the "Now" show on "Euronews Albania".
