The deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, has stated that he will not compete for the leadership of the DP if the latter is not united.
In an interview for "Euronews Albania", he said that today is the moment for everyone to release a little of their personal ego, in order to enable the unification of the party.
" It is not the moment to take on personal functions, it is the moment for everyone to release their ego, their ambitions or from their positions to make the union of the democrats possible. This is not the moment to take momentary positions that do not have any weight in relation to politics ", said Salianji.
As for the return of Basha to the head of the Democratic Party, the deputy expressed categorically against, recalling that he is a systematic loser who has not succeeded in any of the opportunities given to him. Salianji said that there was no communication with him.
Meanwhile, regarding relations with colleagues, Salianji showed that he maintains correct relations with Gazment Bardhi. Meanwhile, Jorida Tabaku and Sali Berisha, he expressed that they congratulated him for the victory in Kavaja.
