Lawyer Spartak Ngjela has spoken about the latest developments in the north of Kosovo. He said that the actions of Albin Kurti are completely within the legal norm and that if he had acted otherwise he would have been wrong.
According to Njjela, the abstention of the Serbian List party from the elections in Kosovo was a "trap" prepared by Serbia, which Kurti did not fall into, as they wanted the elections not to take place and these municipalities sought secession from Kosovo.
The lawyer added that the prime minister of a country cannot leave the country without leadership only because the majority abstains, explaining that if this happens, then the majority is forced to accept being led by the minority.
Abstention is in favor of the opponent, if you withdraw from the elections, the minority wins and becomes the majority. They were not naive, but they failed. They thought that if they withdrew, the elections would not take place and they would start to separate the north. Kurti understood, he made the choices within the absolute legal norm.
That it is an absolute norm that you were attracted to, I cannot do without choice and without direction. They ran away from the entire administration, how would Kurti leave them without an administration? For them to seek independence? That there was nothing else left. Kurti cannot withdraw, he has taken the municipality ", said Spartak Ngjela in Euronews Albania.
