The Democratic Party is expected to throw the stakes today on what will be its fate. The meeting of the democratic parliamentary group started about an hour ago, where the reorganization of the party is being discussed. 16 deputies participated in the meeting.
It is learned that Gazment Bardhi presented a proposal to the democratic deputies. He proposes that the organization of the party starts from the section and then the elections for the chairman are held. This phase of reorganization that starts from the section, group sections, branches, etc., should be done in order to pave the way for a process of unification among the democrats.
While MP Dhurata Çupi has stated that there should not be an election for the chairman of the party now.
" The parliamentary group should have the political decision-making authority. It is this group that the DP held. I agree with the platform suggested by Bardhi. I suggest that the party be led by Mrs. Tabaku and Mr. Bardhi, and that the elections in the party be led by these two people. we are continuously calling to bring as many personalities as possible to the party. The non-urgent elections will be murderous ," said Çupi.
The sources indicate that a proposal put on the table is for the party to be led by Gazmet Bardhi and Jorida Tabaku until the elections for the president are held. But everything will be decided tomorrow, when the meeting of the Presidency will be held, as it has the right to make decisions.
