The candidate for deputy of the DP-ASHM, Aulon Kalaja, was on "Now" on Euronews Albania this Monday where he said that he will demand until the end the reopening of the ballot boxes and the re-evaluation of the votes, as according to him, he was not the only one who saw the manipulation during the counting process.
Asked if he would take his battle to SPAK, Kalaja replied:
"I am one of those people who does not put the party before Albania, Albania comes first. Will I go to SPAK? In fact, SPAK should come to me. I also made the call for the Socialist Party, there are serious men and women there, who have seen electoral crime there.
"It's not just us soldiers who have stepped out of line. I think that SPAK itself should deal with this matter. Will I fight this battle to the end? Yes, definitely, I have embarked on this path."
