The former democratic deputy, Luciano Boçi from the PD headquarters, accused the prime minister, Edi Rama, of being the one who gave the order for the release from prison of the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako.
According to Boc, Dako's release was made because he respected the "Omerta" law, not speaking against Rama while he was under investigation.
Boçi further added that the investigation and the accusations against Dako were fictitious because he was not accused of his serious crimes, but of extra charge and 'abuse of duty'.
" Dako was not released because he allowed the procedures to be exceeded, but because he implemented the law of Omerta, of silence, of Edi Rama. Dako was not accused of his serious crimes that weighed on him, such as the concreting of Durrës and the well-documented monstrous electoral crime, but of additional floor and 'abuse of duty'.
He was not sent home because there is no evidence, but because he gave proof of loyalty to the party and Ed. Loyalty, which is based on the principle: allow our new justice to act as if it is hitting us, so that through it we can hit the political opponents and be in power as much as we want ", said Luciano Boçi.
We remind you that the Special Court released Dako on charges of abuse of office, as the terms of detention have been exceeded. During the investigation, he will remain under house arrest with 24-hour police supervision.
