The citizenship law unites the majority and the opposition. At the end of 11 hours of debate, the Assembly gave a sign of consensus where the two sides combined their votes.
It was the citizenship law that brought together 94 green cards, where all the parties present in the hall were included.
The law was returned to the Assembly for re-voting by the President of the Republic, because during the first voting some of the articles did not receive the necessary majority of at least 84 votes.
The following were also approved: The draft law "On the provider of air navigation services "Albcontrol" which was approved with 75 votes in favor, 20 against and 0 abstentions;
The draft law "On some additions and changes to law no. 107/2014 "On territorial planning and development", as amended, was approved with 75 votes in favor, 23 against and 0 abstentions;
The draft law "On the ratification of the Convention on Agreements on the Choice of Court", was approved with 97 votes in favor, 0 against and 0 abstentions;
The draft law "On the ratification of the protocol for the law applicable to food obligations" was approved with 97 votes in favor, 0 against and 0 abstentions.
The draft decision "On the election of the chairman of the board of the Energy Regulatory Entity", Mr. Petrit Ahmeti was approved with 73 votes in favor, 1 against and 1 abstention;
The draft decision "On the election of a member of the board of the Energy Regulatory Entity", Mr. Maksim Shulli was approved with 74 votes in favor, 0 against and 1 abstention.
