Edi Rama's planned visit to Greece on May 12 has once again stirred the waters between the two countries. On the day that marks one year since Beler's arrest, Rama will hold a meeting with socialists in Greece, but this has been viewed differently by the Greeks. For them it is a challenge, but also an intervention in the process of the European elections.
According to "Kathimerini", the prime minister has not yet made any written request for the meeting, but referring to the sources in the Greek Foreign Ministry, this meeting should be postponed.
It is also reported that the gathering was planned to be held in the closed stadium of Galatsi, but recently the Municipality removed the permission it had given initially, due to other activities that are planned.
