"Small parties got into Berisha's pocket", Alibeaj: Rama controls

Former MP Enkelejd Alibeaj has made strong accusations against the current opposition, describing it as "controlled" and without real will for political change.

Alibeaj stated that Albania today is under an autocratic regime established by Prime Minister Rama, who, according to him, 'does not use violence, but buys and exchanges interests'.

"Today we live in an autocratic regime, elevated to a pedestal by Edi Rama. He knows well the flaws of those he considers his opponents. The opposition should be completely different from Rama, but today it is in a bargain ," declared Alibeaj.

Alibeja added that the opposition's loss in the May 11 elections is not only related to the manipulations of the majority, but to the lack of responsibility and new political signals.

"We have a controlled opposition and this group also includes the small forces that received single mandates. When they were given the opportunity to show that they are different, they got into Sali Berisha's pocket. The Rama-Berisha duopoly is the biggest evil that has blocked any political development in the country ," Alibej told "A2 CNN".
