After more than three and a half hours in front of the Prime Minister's Office, protesters closed the fifth rally against the Zvërnec project and the Rama government. During the protest, five concrete demands were presented for the first time, headed by the government's resignation, while the rally took on a broader political character with calls against the entire political class.

After more than three and a half hours of rallying in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, protesters have closed the main part of the fifth protest against the Zvërnec project and the Rama government, while they have headed back towards Skanderbeg Square.

Organizers have warned that the protest does not end with today's rally, as participants are expected to continue marching through the streets of Tirana, turning the center of the capital into the main stage of civic mobilization.

Today's protest stood out from previous rallies due to the broader political character it took. If in the first few days the focus was mainly on opposing the tourism project in Zvërnec, during today's rally, calls against the government and the political class as a whole dominated.

For the first time, the organizers also presented a platform with concrete demands, chief among which was the resignation of the government. They also demanded the abolition of the status of strategic investors, the cancellation of the amendments to the law on protected areas, the Mountain Package, and the amendments to the law on cultural heritage.

During the protest, there were no shortage of chants of "Rama go away", "Rama in prison" and "Berisha in prison", while many participants presented the rally as a reaction not only to the project in Zvërnec, but to the way of governance and the political class of the last three decades.

Speeches were given on the podium by activists and citizens, while one of the moments that attracted the most attention was the message of a third-grade student, who called for the protection of nature and public spaces.

Today's rally confirmed that the movement launched after the events in Zvërnec is taking on broader dimensions than a local environmental protest. Organizers have made it clear that the action will continue in the coming days, while warning of other mobilizations until their demands are met.
