The Alliance for a Greater Albania has officially launched its electoral campaign. As announced, the activity began at around 7:00 PM at "Nën Tereza" Square.
Sali Berisha decided to follow the model of Donald Trump's campaign, also due to the fact that the campaign is headed by Chris LaCivita, the strategist who gave the American president victory.
A grand podium was erected next to the university, while thousands of chairs were placed in the square where supporters of this political force sat. Like the Republicans in the US, young men and women wearing T-shirts and hats with the DP logo were placed in the podium. Berisha started the march from the DP headquarters and Chris LaCivita stood by his side the entire time.
The latter gave a short speech, attacking the socialists and promising victory to the Democrats. “ Vote for Berisha, give the country hope and opportunity! The socialists will fail, just as they failed with Trump! Let’s make Albania great. Who is ready to make Albania great again? In 2024, in the United States, the socialists tried to put Donald Trump in prison. Donald Trump did not give up. They failed. In 2025, here in Albania, the socialists want to put their entire opposition in prison. Here too, they will fail. Why? Because they cannot defend the balance of the last 12 years: 12 years of crime, 12 years of drugs. More than 1 million Albanians have left the country. And 12 years of economic failure. Why vote for the party that created all these problems? Vote for Dr. Berisha. Give your country a chance. And give people hope ,” said LaCivita.
After him, Sali Berisha took the floor. Naturally, there was no shortage of attacks and accusations against the majority and Edi Rama. Even though under investigation by SPAK, Berisha said that he does not seek power for money and luxury.

His fight in the Democratic Party is Don Quixote's fight with windmills. Whatever he says, this party of political pluralism. This is the party that overthrew the communist dictatorship. This party has made Albania a member of the Council of Europe, of NATO, it is the party that brought it out ", said Berisha.
Based on Rama's statements that remind him of his age, Berisha said that he feels sorry for me, just like those who feel sorry for the knight.
" In terms of age, I guarantee you that my years, as many as I have, I have all of them. In terms of age, you resemble me not with Gramoz Ruçi, but with Gramoz Ruçi's grandfather ," Berisha said.
The democratic leader further said that Edi Rama has done everything to erase the opposition from history.

A battle in which Albania rises again. These years, evil put our country before us. These years, 12 years, were for Albania years of its desolation by its sons and daughters, they were years of its impoverishment, they were years in which the Tirana drug lord regime and the international mafia did everything to erase from the memory of this nation your immortal work, pluralistic Albania. It did everything to erase from the history of this nation the major achievements in the field of freedom. It did everything to erase from the archives of this nation, the contribution of each of you to national dignity and national freedom. It did everything so that you had neither a name nor a flag. But here we are today, with our flag prouder than ever with you ,” the Democratic leader said.
At the end there was a threat: " On May 12th, let's celebrate for the Great Albania, for the Albania we deserve. The sirens of the free vote of Albanians are sounding. Edi Rama, don't touch the vote because you will have no place on earth. Leave with the vote because you have done great harm to this country. Together, let's turn the Albania of pain into an Albania of well-being ."
