Salianji is a member of the National Council and he has emerged as the strongest critic of the DP leadership in recent weeks, even taking the initiative of 'Poltore' or meetings with the democrats' base. The Democratic Party has convened its National Council, its first meeting since its defeat in the May 11 elections.

The National Council is meeting at a time when debates are taking place within the DP regarding how this party has reacted to the defeat, but also on the eve of the first national protest since May 11.

The National Council meeting is expected to be accompanied by debates, while in the last 24 hours, accusations have intensified between Sali Berisha, Flamur Noka on one side, and Ervin Salianji on the other.

Berisha is expected to repeat the accusations against Salijanj, continuing to lead the DP with an iron fist, while the member of the DP Presidency will not be part of the meeting.

Salianji justified his absence from the National Council meeting with the fact that he is continuing his round of meetings with Democrats at the party's base.

Salianji is a member of the National Council and he has emerged as the strongest critic of the DP leadership in recent weeks, even taking the initiative of 'Speakers' or meetings with the democrats' base. So far, Salianji has held 3 meetings: Durrës, Gjirokastër and Elbasan, while the democrat leader has held meetings in some of the DP branches in Tirana, Elbasan and Mirdita.

Berisha has accused Salianji of a personal agenda, which does not serve the DP but the Government, while the member of the Presidency has articulated strong accusations mainly towards Flamur Noka, Secretary General of the DP.

An amendment is also expected to be presented at the National Council meeting, bearing the signatures of 17 members of this forum, which aims to prevent individuals who have received tenders from the Government or funding from Soros from being in the leadership of the DP.

Also, the National Council meeting may reopen a series of issues in the largest opposition party, referring to the fact that at least 20 members of the highest leadership forum of the DP, if they take the floor and articulate their public criticisms, could cause a 'shock' in the leadership of this party. /Pamphlet/
