The Democratic Party has joined 10 other political forces and submitted to the Central Election Commission the request to participate in the August 4 partial elections for the Himar Municipality.
Although there seemed to be some hesitation, DP has decided to participate.
The request was submitted this Monday, where already in the documentation submitted to the CEC it appears that Sali Berisha is the leader of this party.
The Democrats have received a certificate from the Office of the Registry of Political Parties, near the Court of the Judicial District of Tirana, on July 22, which shows that Berisha is the chairman of the Democratic Party.
It is expected that tomorrow the CEC will examine the request of the Democratic Party and 10 other political forces that have expressed their willingness to compete for the elections in Himare.
