Today marks 8 years since the adoption of the justice reform. On July 22, 2016, 140 deputies voted in favor of the constitutional changes, without knowing that many of them would be subject to this reform.
There were many who did not like it and even today there are many. There were those who worked under the rug to prevent him. There were also those who tried to introduce their people into the new bodies. Some succeeded and some did not, but no party managed to stop the rise of SPAK, which is the icing on the cake of the new justice.
Today, everyone has turned into enemies of this structure, as those who put their hands in the pockets of Albanians are being held accountable day by day. And those who guarantee the inviolability of this prosecution are undoubtedly the Americans.
No politician remembered today the 8th anniversary of the justice reform. The only one that was remembered is the US embassy, which has made it clear to politicians that the reform is not affected and that the corrupt will be held accountable.
" On this eighth anniversary of the unanimous approval of the constitutional amendments that paved the way for the justice reform, we congratulate the Albanian people for their support in its irreversible implementation. As we have said all along, the justice reform would not be easy, quick or perfect, but it is giving results and making Albania a stronger democracy. We are proud to have stood with the people of Albania in this difficult and courageous effort. We will continue to stand by the institutions of justice and the citizens of Albania, as they continue to make progress in the fight against corruption and bringing Albania closer to the Euro-Atlantic community of nations ", the embassy says.
In 25 years of political pluralism, the reform in justice has been considered the most important, while for the European Union it was the basic condition for the opening of negotiations.
Immediately after its approval, the "big fish" were in the range of internationals. The first warning was given by the US ambassador at the time, Donald Lu. In 8 years there were many developments. From Meta's attempts to capture the Constitution, to Rama's attempts to put his loyalist in charge of SPAK. But the Americans have always intervened in delicate moments, and at least until now, SPAK is seen as the body that everyone fears. / Pamphlet
