The former president, Bamir Topi, has maintained the opinion that the current opposition is non-existent.
Invited to ABCnews, Topi stated that the opposition must be re-established, as the logo and name have been taken hostage. According to Topi, the goal of the democrats is very serious, as they know very well that in this situation they do not win, but they want to go to work in the parliament.
"The opposition must be re-established, but they have fallen hostage to the logo and the name. Because if they come out without a sign and without a name, one does not see these with the eyes, but they play with this kind of relationship that has a sign with sympathizers in order to remain in the parliament. The purpose of these is very serious, they know very well that in this state they do not win, but they want to go to work in the parliament, to create the comfort that gives the parliament, to preserve this type of public community to the last, and to continue to interest the people who shout every day to your show. If it was an opposition that would fight in the parliament, there would be fewer people in the show, but it is the opposite", said Topi.
