The attacks on Marsida Xhaferllari have divided the PD. People and the media close to Berisha have strongly attacked the judge of the Constitutional Court, forcing her to resign from the case against Berisha. But it seems that Bardhi's group has come out against it. Marash Logu has made a status on social networks that opposes this, as his post has received the consent of Bardhi and Jorida Tabaku.

The attack on judge Marsida Xhaferllari is unjust. In all matters of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party that I have represented since September 2021 in the Constitutional Court, the attitude of judge Xhaferllari, together with judge Sonila Bejtja, has been completely correct and professional. We may not have agreed on everything, but ultimately the lawyer's ability is to appreciate the professionalism of the judges, even when they do not give decisions only in his favor.
Even, due to the correctness and professionalism of judges Xhaferllari and Bejtja, they have often been unfairly labeled as opposition judges and their work has been violated. The same labeling and attack has not been used against those judges - close family or social ties of the socialist majority - who have voted against every demand of the opposition, regardless of what its object was. Even the attack on Judge Bejtja, and now on Judge Xhaferllari, seems to have the same motivation.
The pity in this case is not only about the attacks themselves, but the source from which they come. While the attacks from the socialist majority and their media satellites are expected and understandable, the Democratic Party has the duty to evaluate the positions of the constitutional judges who have remained faithful to the Constitution and the law, resisting the pressures of the executive power. We can have a lot of criticism for the work of the Constitutional Court, and personally I have had quite a few, but if there is a judge who does honor to that body, it is Marsida Xhaferllari.
