The draft law on the Physician's Order is being discussed in the parliament. In her speech, PD deputy Albana Vokshi said that the government is disobeying the Doctors' Order.
Vokshi emphasized that doctors are being treated by the government as enemies. She said that the conditions in our hospitals are bad.
"Radioactive iodine has been missing for 10 months. The minister said that we just have to move forward. Medicines have been missing in hospitals for months. The equipment in hospitals does not work. The sick have not received therapy for 2 years. The government has not taken any measures. but rush to the Order of Doctors. Albanian doctors are disaffected.
This law is made to send a message to the doctors, don't dare to raise your head, don't speak. You know that in Fier Hospital, Turkish doctors receive 10 times as much as Albanian doctors and this is unfair. You are treating doctors as enemies. I call on doctors and nurses to react, to protect lives. What is happening at Oncology is a mass crime and I invite SPAK to investigate in a professional manner", said Vokshi.
