For the first time in 30 years, the May 11 elections are seen as a golden opportunity for new parties. In these years of democracy, the DP and the SP have dominated politics, but in these elections, since for the first time there will be a vote from the diaspora, some new parties are seen as a signal that change is coming.
Polls conducted inside and outside the country show that there is great dissatisfaction with the DP-SP and a significant increase in the Together Movement, Albania Becomes or the Knitting Initiative.
But even though these young people are seen as the future of politics, it seems that the old politics has infected them too, as today a fight broke out between Arlind Qori, Adriatik Lapaj and Endri Shabani.
The Bashke Movement had announced a protest in front of the Ministry of Interior, regarding the case of police officer Azbi Spahiu, who fell suspiciously from the 11th floor of a building. But there was an incident there. Adriatik Lapaj of Shqipëria Bëhet tried to take the floor. Arlind Qori's supporters did not allow him, as according to them they organized the protest. This led to accusations and clashes. Lapaj was addressed with the slogans: "Communists". While those of the Bashke Movement described him as 'captured'.
Regarding this quarrel, the leader of the Together Movement, Arlind Qori, has also reacted. " The first provocateur enters the scene, a tall guy who at the beginning of the protest appears in front of the cameras and starts cursing the Together Movement for using the protest for votes. After countless requests to the police to remove the protest disruptor who was pushing and cursing anyone who got in his way, the police finally removed him.
After numerous calls against the oligarchy and the government, the speeches began. I have recorded the fourth name. After my speech, I give the microphone to the protest leader, pedagogue Redi Muçi. When I turn my head, I see that Adriatik Lapaj has emerged at the top of the podium of the BASHKA Movement - in the protest called earlier than anyone else from the BASHKA Movement and for which the BASHKA Movement had also obtained permission from the police - and is trying to take the microphone by force. Redi Muçi was telling him politely that in the protest, people speak in turns and anyone who wants to speak must first write their name on the list and wait their turn. So, all they have to do is respect the rules and the order and they will be given the floor as much as they want ," he said.
Meanwhile, Endri Shabani of the Nisma Thurje has also become part of the fight. In a reaction on social media, Shabani emphasizes that this is an ugly event and the behavior of old politics.
