Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, from the window of the apartment where he is under house arrest, has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of using his power to violate the opposition.
During his speech, Berisha called Rama the most corrupt politician in Albania, who, according to him, uses his power to control justice.
" My friends! Edi Rama is today the most corrupt 25-year-old ruler in Europe and beyond. Edi Rama has spent 25 years in power with an unparalleled hatred towards Albanians. It uses power above all to drive them away from Albania, from their country to ruin their existence.
He uses his power for 25 years to enrich himself, his family, close to the renaissance as a whole. He uses his power to hide hundreds of millions of euros in offshore accounts. It uses power to violate the opposition, to create Albania without opposition. It uses power to control justice and transform it into a lever, an instrument against the opposition and citizens. He uses power to punish only those he wants ," said Berisha.
