Analyst Roland Bejko stated that with today's protest, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, seeks to dominate the party and justify his re-election in the internal elections in May.
According to Bejko, Berisha is fighting for power and will not allow Ervin Saliaj, nor anyone else, in the race for party leader.
"Berisha, he returned to the podium, this is Berisha's style. Of course he does it, because he wants to show the Democrats that he dominates the party. It is the seventh protest in a row, there were objectives to overthrow the government and hold elections, but he did not achieve it. There is a legitimacy crisis within the DP and the Democrats are reacting. The party of structures is not connected to the party of the chairman, we have cracks within the party, the militants feel upset, insulted. They think they have the party together with Berisha, but he does not think so. It is a clear struggle for power by Berisha. The goal of each member is to be a party of power, a winner. This is a pure struggle for power within the DP, we are in conditions where we have switched to personal attacks.

Berisha is showing us fear, he has created accusations against a collaborator, but he does not present evidence, he does not present facts. Salianji has an internal advantage.
