The Assembly has voted to dismiss 11 members of the RTSH Steering Council. The Socialist and Democratic Parties joined forces today to dismiss the RTSH Council.
Leka Bungo, Gëzim Podgorica, Genc Përmeti, Mevlan Shanaj, Ilir Keko, Ardita Reçi, Milena Selimi, Engjëll Ndocaj, Edmond Tullumani, Dionis Papadhimitri and Albert Minga were officially dismissed after the vote in the Assembly.
Voting in the Assembly:
Gëzim Podgorica; was dismissed with 89 votes in favor, 5 abstentions, 4 against.
Genc Përmeti; was dismissed with 91 votes in favor, 0 abstentions, 4 against
Leka Bungo; was dismissed with 95 votes in favor, 5 abstentions, 3 against
Albert Minga; was dismissed with 88 votes in favor, 6 abstentions, 6 against
Ardita Reçi; was dismissed with 92 votes in favor, 3 abstentions, 3 against
Dionis Papadimitri; was dismissed with 92 votes in favor, 3 abstentions, 2 against
Edmond Tullumani; was dismissed with 96 votes in favor, 3 against, 1 abstention
Engjëll Ndocaj; was dismissed with 94 votes in favor, 4 abstentions, 4 against
Ilir Keko; 89 votes in favor, 3 abstentions, 11 against
Mevlan Shanaj; was dismissed with 64 votes in favor, 12 abstentions, 15 against
Milena Selimi; was dismissed with 93 votes in favor, 3 abstentions, 4 against
Earlier, the chairwoman of the Media Committee, Ina Zhupa, read from the Assembly rostrum the Committee's draft decision to dismiss the members of the RTSH Steering Council, following the findings established in the report and numerous abuses in the director selection procedure, as well as nepotistic and financial ones.
