The Socialist Party is already in a reorganization process. In the Assembly, the action plan was approved, where in the period February 15-March 15, the internal elections for the managers of the branches will be held.
It is learned that by March 15, the leaders of the branches will be elected, while on June 12, the Congress of the SP will be held, which coincides with the 33rd anniversary of the creation of the SP.
On February 11, the Assembly of the Socialist Party took place behind closed doors. The meeting started at 11:00, where the focus was not only on the 2025 parliamentary elections, but also on the reorganization of structures within the party.
At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister scheduled the next meeting of the SP Assembly, which will be held on March 16, in the city of Durrës.
Meanwhile, in a statement to the media after the end of the Assembly, Rama stated that it was a long meeting where there were deep analyzes based on facts and figures.
" We had a long meeting. With many discussions. It was a business meeting and in a business meeting there are confrontations with facts and opinions. There are concerns coming from various party organizations, from voters who have voted for SP or not.
There was a self-critical approach from everyone together, starting with me. Don't put too much faith in how things go. I am here to inform you that we are very pleased with this meeting.
We also approved the action plan for the period February 15 and March 15, when the elections in our entire political organization begin. We will have a meeting on February 16 where we will see the progress of the work during this time ", said Rama, among other things.
Meanwhile, according to information from inside the meeting, it was said that Prime Minister Rama had reservations about the work of some structures of the SP, especially for the district of Tirana led by Erjon Veliaj. For the latter, it is said that there has been a flood of criticism.
As if this was not enough, Rama addressed Veliaj with the words: "What are these useless meetings you hold, you have become an NGO" referring to the bad organization of the work.
Regarding these reports that there were strong criticisms within the meeting, Rama declared to the media that there were criticisms of everyone's work but did not give specific details.
