Shkruar nga PamfletiThe mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, reacted after Prime Minister Edi Rama entrusted him with the leadership of the Shkodra district in the race for the 2025 parliamentary elections.
In a post on social networks, Beci thanks Rama for the trust, while saying that she will give her best for this challenging task on the way back to the development of Shkodra.
"There are mixed emotions these days, when Prime Minister Edi Rama just charged me with an important, challenging and completely new task for my profile. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity and trust to be the political coordinator of the Socialist Party for the Shkodra District.
Undoubtedly, Mr. Rama, but especially to the citizens of Shkodra and my colleagues. Thanks to you, our common journey in politics, from April 2021, is turning out to be the right one. I also feel rewarded for our model of doing politics.
By focusing on work and positivity, on skills and the will to develop our region, it seems that we are bringing together new opportunities. But today I also feel challenged, as someone who takes on responsibility for the first time, in a field where people with longer experience have contributed before.
With a lot of desire, motivation and confidence, I will dedicate myself to this task as well, to give the maximum in an already irreversible path, that of development for Shkodra as a municipality and as a region. I need the support of every member of the party, every contributor in years and every citizen in our district.
It will not be easy, but ours must and will be the road to irreversible development, as Shkodra deserves. We must and will all be together, because Shkodra is first. Thank you", writes Benet Beci.
