Lulzim Basha reacted after the National Assembly of the Socialist Party, where Prime Minister Rama presented the new team for the 2025 elections and listed the government's affairs.
For Basha, this was an ugly theater of Rama that aims to treat citizens without spectators, as he also commented on the Prime Minister's decision on open lists. He has accused the prime minister of bargaining with Berisha as he writes that: "The pair who in the stamp bargain shared pieces of power, Rama the corrupt government, Berisha the facade opposition".

The hypocrisy of vilifying the partner with whom he closed lists and freed his corrupt through amnesty is ugly theater that recycles itself year after year. The goal is to treat the citizens as spectators, without decision-making power, without political freedom, without a voice in the development of the country.
Funny the beating of the chest of the prime minister who leads the most corrupt government in Europe, as he says that he will run in the open part of the lists. What is the need to treat as bravery the candidacy in the open part of the lists, when there was the opportunity to open them to everyone? This is just another mockery of the citizens, who were denied the right to choose by the pair who shared pieces of power in the stamp market, Rama the corrupt government, Berisha the facade opposition. Therefore, in the next elections, their offer is very clear: Vote for Rama and get Berisha, vote for Berisha and keep Rama.
The Euro-Atlantic democrats stand firmly against this bargain that sets mandates on the table and divides Albania as a spoil for the old duo and their clientele.

During the Assembly of the SP, Rama joked saying that the tired names brought out the 'winner' Lulzim Basha several times and now they want to bring out the winner Berisha as well.
"All losers and exhausted. That they took out the desert flower as many times as a winner and now they will take out the eighth floor as a winner. Even then they say that you cannot win against the dictatorship of Edi Rama", said the Prime Minister.
