Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech from the meeting with Albanian immigrants to Greece, announced that an Albanian-Greek chamber of commerce will be established.
The head of government also said that Greeks have been, are and will always be welcome in Albania, for visiting, living or even working.
He even invited Greek citizens to come to Albania to open their businesses as taxes are lower compared to Greece.
"It seems as if there have been eternal problems between Albania and Greece. Meanwhile, daily life outside the noisy cafe of short-term political interests and beyond the dazzling media mirrors continues to be normal, active and productive. Greece ranks third in the list of trade partners of Albania. Thanks to the engagement of economic operators, we are in the final stages of creating the first Albanian-Greek chamber of commerce and industry with headquarters in Athens. We are waiting for the approval of the Greek government to open the Albanian culture center, for which our government has prepared the funds. The number of travelers moving to both countries has increased tenfold.
Albanians have long been in love with the shores of Greece, but also vice versa. More and more Greeks are discovering touristic Albania. Greeks have been, are and will always be welcome in Albania. Not only for holidays, but also to work, open shops and benefit from a much lower tax regime than here in Greece. Albania creates all the conditions for any politician who comes to protest there and loses the elections here ," said Rama.
