Prime Minister Edi Rama has arrived in Athens, where he will deliver a speech in Galatsi.
Shortly before the start of the meeting, Rama told the Greek media "Kathimerini" that "Mitsotakis is a friend whom I respect a lot".
He also claims that he is the Greek prime minister who, more than any of his predecessors with whom he has worked, is genuinely interested in strengthening Greek-Albanian relations.
Rama has also stated that the plan for his speech in Athens has nothing to do with Fredi Beleri's case.
"We want to make justice independent from political power for the first time since Albania declared independence from the Ottoman Empire ," said Rama.
Today, the Prime Minister starts his tour of meetings with the Albanian diaspora from Athens.
His speech will be held at around 11:00, but during the day the prime minister of Albania will also have meetings with compatriots, members of his party and businessmen, while he is expected to distribute brochures on bilateral relations.
