Prime Minister Edi Rama has arrived in Athens where he will hold a tour of meetings with the Diaspora this Sunday.
Rama arrived in Athens accompanied by approximately 150 people, his wife Linda, club rapper Noizy, ministers and deputies and 50 journalists.
The visit of the head of the Albanian government comes within the framework of the re-energization process of the Socialist Party and focuses on strengthening ties with compatriots.
Before the meeting with the Albanians this Sunday in Athens, the Greek media "Kathimerini" has published a short interview with Prime Minister Edi Rama, who, among other things, comments on the relations with his Greek counterpart.
"Kyriakos is the prime minister of Greece, he is a friend I respect a lot ", says Edi Rama. He also claims that he is the Greek prime minister who, more than any of his predecessors with whom he has worked, is genuinely interested in strengthening Greek-Albanian relations.
Rama has also stated that the plan for his speech in Athens does not include anything about Fredi Beleri's case.
"We want to make justice independent from political power for the first time since Albania declared independence from the Ottoman Empire ," the Albanian Prime Minister emphasizes.
