Who will be on the open list and who will be on the closed list?
Socialist leader Edi Rama seems to have started preparations for the list of deputies in the May 11 elections.
He had a meeting today with the political leaders, where two elements were in focus: the lists of candidates and the vote of the diaspora.
In previous years, the lists were drawn up in cooperation between Rama and political leaders. It is the latter who offer names and then in the end the prime minister decides who is valid and who is not. But today, it is learned that Rama has made it clear which category will be in the open lists and who in the closed ones.
At the September Assembly, Rama made a strong statement. He said that all political leaders and MPs with more than 2 mandates will be on the open list. As for the closed list and the mandate is certain, Taulant Balla, Blendi Klosi and the new figures will be there.
We don't know if it will continue like this, but today Rama has given directives to the political leaders on how the lists will be divided and the qualities that the candidates who will enter there should have.
Meanwhile, the aim of the SP in these elections will be the diaspora. Rama knows that there is a lot of discontent in the country. Polls show that there is a large increase in new parties and a decline in the SP. For this reason, the prime minister seeks to compensate for the decline through the diaspora, as well as by increasing pensions, reducing the price of energy and forgiving fines.
The Socialists have set up call centers in every municipality, which will start calling the diaspora on Saturday, helping them to register online at the CEC if they are SP voters.
Some people will be sent from Albania to the main cities of Europe where the SP has data on its concentrated voters. These delegates will be responsible for helping immigrants to correctly complete the registration application. The final goal of the SP is to create a list from the diaspora with all its voters. / Pamphlet
