The Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama, was present today at the presentation of the reform for the State Cadastre Agency.
During his speech, the head of the government said that even though they had a long time at their disposal, they did not manage to transform the Cadastre into what it really is.
According to him, the Cadastre is a bank, and he compares it with the Bank of Albania or second-tier banks where the savings of Albanians are kept.
"Like any bank, the Cadastre is not a nest for people, for people who are not related to that work. The Cadastre is hindered in the first place by you, when I say by you I do not mean each of you personally, but what you represent , deputies, ministers, mayors. The other truth is that the terrible past with maps worn by folding and unfolding with movable property titles according to interests and overlapping properties from complete irresponsibility which is the number 1 characteristic of people who enter a mission not to do the mission, or of people who even when they want to do the job are ignorant, has caused us to inherit the most catastrophic situation in Europe," said Rama.
Rama also said that from July 3, no one will respond to him from the Cadastre.
