For this purpose, equipment for 4 counting tables has been installed in the hall. In the last session, the losing candidate in Kuçovo, Lefter Maliqi, claimed a series of irregularities in the election process of May 14 in Kuçovo.
According to him, the 18 boxes that will be renumbered were outside the viewing angle of the CEC's surveillance camera in the KEZAZ of Kuçova.
The Electoral College decided to recount 18 ballot boxes in the municipality of Kuçova on June 23.
The decision was taken after the complaint of the "Together We Win" coalition and the candidate Lefter Maliqi.
Lefter Maliqi had earlier addressed the Complaints and Sanctions Commission, where he requested the rejection of the decision of the KZAZ of Kuçova, which announced the winner of the socialist candidate Kreshnik Hajdari in the May 14 elections, accusing the opponent of buying votes.
Maliqi raised allegations of group voting as well as irregularities by the members of the voting centers. The elections brought out the winner Kreshnik Hajdari of the SP with 682 votes difference with Lefter Maliq.
