The Electoral College today begins the recount of 18 ballot boxes in Kuçovo from the May 14 elections. It is about 18 ballot boxes for the mayor of Kuçovo.
This is after the candidate of Together We Win, Lefter Maliqi, has raised claims and accusations that the election process on May 14 in the Municipality of Kuçova was manipulated.
Speaking to the media, Maliqi said that before these 18 boxes he was 100 votes ahead of the winner, while they were not covered by security cameras and it is suspected that these boxes were tampered with.
"Today is the fifth session in the Electoral College, which decided in the previous session to open 18 boxes not covered by security cameras.
Before these 18 boxes, we were 100 votes ahead of the winner. We suspect that these boxes have been tampered with.
Our request is that after these 18 boxes, we will also request the opening of 47 other boxes and their total invalidity because many violations have been found.
This is not about chastity, but about traces, real evidence", stated Maliqi.
