Prime Minister Rama has attacked the opposition, describing it as a “walking disaster.” According to him, the vacuum created by the opposition could bring negative energy and hinder the government's path.
During the speech held at the Socialist Party assembly in Elbasan, Rama emphasized that currently the socialist majority is not in question, as there are no parliamentary elections on the horizon, while the next electoral process remains the local elections next year.
"The vacuum created because the official opposition is an ambulatory disaster can be filled with negativity and an energy that can hinder us on this path. This is not a question of arithmetic, nor that we have elections ahead, because we do not have elections ahead, except next year when local elections will be held, but they have their importance, but they do not question our majority of 83 mandates," declared the Prime Minister.
He also said that the political situation and public climate should not affect the reduction of the responsibility of the Socialists, while calling for more engagement and communication with the membership and citizens.
"But this atmosphere should not call into question the weight of responsibility for each of us. I have asked that we be much closer to the membership and talk about major political and social issues, while we must talk to everyone why they should be proud to be part of this political family," he added.
