Prime Minister Edi Rama, in presenting the package of legal measures for the protection of property and territory, stated that arsonists should be punished as murderers, considering the damage caused by fires in our country during the summer months, many of which are suspected of being intentional arson.
Rama also focused on the distortion of projects that are not identical to the final construction, stating that both architects and builders will be punished. He further emphasized that builders will have their building permits revoked, while architects will also be held criminally liable.
"Builders who are found guilty will be blacklisted and will not be allowed to build for a period of time. We cannot continue to see how builders deceive citizens to whom we can tell that in a system like this, contractual relations are between the parties and as long as you have a contract and have paid by looking at the pictures, you take responsibility, but this is not the solution."
Citizens have paid and are staying out or we can no longer take the house because it leads to the absurdity that a house is sold twice. For this reason, the measure will be very severe.
"In addition to the blacklist, the confiscation of the building will be immediate and the situation will be managed by the state. It is important to block the chain as the builders cooperate with the architects, whose failure to notify the deformation of the project will be considered a criminal offense," said Rama.
