The well-known analyst and lawyer, Kreshnik Spahiu, expresses his conviction that the former prime minister Sali Berisha is the person most interested in the head of Reestablishment, Sali Berisha, remaining in politics and the former prime ministers not being investigated. During an interview for the newspaper "SOT", while commenting on the political situation in Albania, the lawyer Spahiu emphasized that Rama is also interested in the former prime ministers and former presidents not being sentenced to prison, because according to him, then it falls to them even in in the future follow the same path as Meta and from Berisha. Meanwhile, the lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said that Agron Shehaj has the political and financial capacities to create a political party, two very important elements in 2023. If Shehaj will put all the financial resources at his disposal then, according to Spahiu, he will to be very successful, while if you don't put them in it will be very difficult.
- Mr. Spahiu, the Parliament continues to be in smoke and flames, while the group of Berisha and Bardhi warn that there will be protests. Have a comment?
Berisha and his group have reached their goal. This Berisha clash has a two to one result. Radical movements strengthen positions within the group, but remove popular support, which means that everyone understands that Berisha, if he had popular support, would not set fire to the parliament, but to the boulevard. he would set fire to Lulzim Basha's chair, but he would set fire to Prime Minister Edi Rama's office, he would not set fire to Lindita Nikolla's podium, but he would burn the entire Parliament with crowds of people, he would do it like in 97'. The fact that Berisha cannot do it like in 1997 is because he has a maximum of 97 people left, so there is no popular support.
Where he has achieved his goals is in two aspects. The first has managed to scare the justice system and the second has eclipsed the new political forces. Prosecutors and judges seem to have been scared by Berisha's pressure, as they have always been, and this is Berisha's first victory. No other party joins his fire action, but he introduces his puppets to destroy any other opposition initiative. With what he intended, he partially achieved his goal.
-Berisha accuses SPAK of saying that it is under Rama's command, while the prime minister says that SPAK was created by SP. What do you think of these statements?
If SPAK was created by SP, why didn't he come out to thank this branch of SP, and say thank you for freeing my son-in-law, or for not arresting me even though I am not appearing at SPAK. Rovena Hoda for a fish crate and a cell phone was investigated in prison, while he for 17 towers is being investigated free, where is the equality of the law here. Rama is the person most interested in Berisha staying in politics and that the former prime ministers are not investigated. - A few days ago, the Re-establishment Assembly was held, as what attracted attention was the presence of the daughter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Argita. How did you see this?
I wrote a long article and raised the question of how many people know Ramiz Ali's family or children, what their name is, and it turned out that 99 percent know neither by name nor by face, because they considered the family to be family and party party. But today everyone knows Berisha's family. I have no right to prejudge who gets the political inheritance, and the Americans have said that better than anyone else. The Americans and the international factor have expressed themselves clearly with the blockade they have made for Berisha's family not to inherit the political party, but anyone is free to compete, even Argita can compete politically. He can really leave the party, but that party will be dissolved, the party he leads has not even been legalized. Even if he gets it and if he doesn't, it's completely irrelevant to the political factor in Albania what Berisha or Berisha's family will do. They don't even fill the hall and they take their family members to fill the hall and this shows failure.
-Meanwhile, Gazment Bardhi and other MPs did not go to the Parliament, they talk about unifying the opposition, but aren't there signs of the unification of this group?
I don't even think that group will come together. I don't see Bardhi's union with Berisha as long-term, I don't see longevity of political cooperation. Argita's appearance on the stage dashed the hopes of Gazment Bardhi and some others who thought that in 2025 Berisha may resign and they may take the direction of Reestablishment.
- Dissensions continue within the deputies, Agron Shehaj said that he will create a new political entity, how do you see it?
I think that the creation of a new political force is better than the conflict to divide a party. One must always appreciate an individual who takes the courage to build a new political movement. This is extraordinary courage and in general Albania lacks new political movements. Albania does not have the luxury that Kosovo has with 5-6 political factors, as it brought out Vetëvendosje, far from the two political forces that were the LDK and the PDK, and I think that Albania should always try to create political forces.
I think that Shehaj has the political and financial capacities that are necessary for a political party. There are many intellectuals who have the opportunity to create political parties. If he wants to use all the financial resources then he can go, if not it will be difficult. He needs to create a coalition with other parties. He and the other small parties should know that Rama has no opponent, but those who have blocked the right have an opponent, the one who guarantees Rama the next political mandate. / Today
