Prime Minister Edi Rama has not spared irony and mockery of the protesters who have been demanding his resignation for a week, while the protests that began in Tirana have now spread to the country's main cities, but also to some of the European capitals and beyond, where Albanians in the diaspora live and work.
In the "Flasim" podcast, Rama considered those who protest like online flamingos, who have their own agenda and have nothing to do with the environment or the birds of Albania.
" Some have it against Israel, which got involved in this for no reason. While the main investors are two Muslim brothers famous in the Middle East for their successes and investments and who come from Qatar, a country that does not even have relations with Israel. Some others have it against the one in America, the American president, whom they half love, half hate and against whom the media and all online systems rush for everything ," Rama said.
Unlike the first day when the protests began, when a Prime Minister appeared ready to sit down for talks, Rama has now taken a stinging and offensive position towards the protesters, who he sometimes considers a crowd of 2,000 people and sometimes a diverse crowd.
Following his comment on the protest, the Prime Minister minimized it, emphasizing that unlike what is reported in the media or online networks, there is a crowd on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard.

According to the Prime Minister, even though he said he doesn't believe it, perhaps those protesting don't want tourists to come to Albania.
" There are some worrying signs, a few, but before it becomes a trend for those who have booked to come, that is, to bring in that money that will go to small businesses, that will go to families who are eagerly awaiting this season, then we will lose a lot of tourists this year."
"Maybe that's what you want. I don't believe that's what you want, but maybe that's the goal, that we live only with flamingos, which 99.99% of those who protect them I've never seen with my own eyes. I don't know. Look at this job ," Rama said.
The Prime Minister then stated that 10 years ago flamingos were killed and eaten.
"10 years ago, forests were cut down and trucks with forest wood came from north to south. 10 years ago, when there was no mention of protected areas, because protected areas were land without a master. Everything was prey to greed. What would have happened if in these 20 years, we had not expanded the map of protected areas in the territory of Albania. Protestohet jo per projektin, jo kundra zhvillimit, por kundra atyre "investitoreve" te fshehur ne guaska off shore. Menyres tende te drejtimit dhe mostransparences se tejskajshme. Protestohet per keqmanaxhimin e prones publike dhe transformimin e saj ne prone private, sipas oreksit tend te momentit. Protestohet per te gjitha padrejtesit dhe korrupsionin galopant te administrates, ketu e 36 vjet. Protestohet per mbrojtjen e prones private dhe garantimin e te drejtes se pronesise si nje prej te drejtave themelore. Lista eshte shume e gjate... Eshte trashe zullumi dhe dukesh i pashprese. Largimi te nderon, e kunderta te zgjat agonine.

Manipulator dhe provokator i ndyre qe ben sikur s’e kupton ku qendron thelbi i protestes duke e relativizuar thjesht tek ceshtja e mjedisit. Nga ana tjeter me nje llogjike infantile do te mbrohet duke perzier Izraelin dhe presidentin Tramp pa asnje lidhje me aresyet madhore te protestes, per t’i bere aleate e ndersyer kunder saj pasi e s’ka byth vete te perballet.
Pas 14 vjetesh kryeminister dhe 23 vjet ne pushtet as e con neper mend te hape krahun. Dmth nje popull i tere ka mbetur peng i psikopatit betonit. Dmth duhet te presim te vdes Berisha dhe Rama, qe te kemi shprese per nje prurje te re nje njeri normal, i pergjegjshem qe ta doje kete vend. Kaq kerkohet. Nuk hap dot tv se te del gogoli.
