Electoral reform continues to be the most debated issue of the moment.
Socialist deputy Etjen Xhafaj said that it is the democratic deputies who have been blocking the reform for two years.
According to him, these deputies still do not talk about the issues related to the electoral reform itself.
However, Xhafaj says that it is necessary for the parties to have a dialogue on this issue.
"First, it is necessary to sit down and discuss. All possible solutions will have their pros and cons. It is necessary to meet with the parties and discuss. This commission has been established for 2 and a half years. A part of the opposition, which is already opposing it, has not spoken at all for 2 and a half years", Xhafaj said.
Regarding the proposals received from the chief democrat Lulzim Basha, Xhafaj said that among them the vote of immigrants is a necessity and an obligation to Albanians who live outside the borders.
According to the socialist deputy, the time has come for Albanians to be offered a new alternative and no more blockages.
"Now we have to offer the Albanians a new alternative, this is not done through blockades. We owe them the vote of immigrants and we must give them this right and discuss it with all parties", said Xhafaj in an interview for Report TV.
