Sali Berisha appeared yesterday for the first time at the premises of the Special Prosecutor's Office, where he was questioned in connection with the Partizani affair.
After leaving SPAK, Berisha told the media that he had found a mortuary atmosphere in the Special Prosecutor's Office and added that it was not clear who directed more questions, he to the prosecutors, or vice versa.
Plator Nesturi, the former spokesperson of the former chief prosecutor Ina Rama, said on the Now show on Euronews Albania that Berisha went to SPAK and questioned the prosecutors at a time when there are things in the file that are part of the investigation and no one knows about them.
According to him, even when he was prime minister, after January 21, Berisha used the same intimidating language towards prosecutors and judges to destroy any evidence from that event.
"This is his way of fighting, the defense is purely political and not legal, all that matters is that these are Rama's servants and I am being accused politically.
To that prosecutor and judge on January 21 who intimidated him when he was prime minister for spoiling the evidence and all that is left of Aleks Nika's cartridge, there is no other evidence, even Aleks Nika's cartridge is damaged", said Nesuri.
