Democratic Party MP Tomorr Alizoti has spoken about former Prime Minister Berisha, the opposition, the Mcgonigal file where VOA reveals Rama and SPAK.
Alizoti stopped at the criminal process against the leader of the opposition Sali Berisha, where according to him it is a great sadness that a state security investigator is investigating the founder of the DP today.
According to the democratic deputy, after 13 years, today you cannot stop the leader of the opposition from speaking and having a communication with the media, as this is a political isolation to annihilate the largest shares of the opposition.
"A state security investigator investigates the founder of the DP in 1990, investigates the historic leader today, to bring justice. Even this makes me sad, makes me feel bad. Oh, all these people who were killed, hanged, tortured as if it was something in vain.
When Berisha was prime minister, all those who worked with Berisha did not see him as a member of the party. I want to speak openly, but I personally don't look at it because today Berisha does not give me anything from a pragmatic point of view. In this situation that is PD, I, like Alizot, do not gain anything. From the emotional, historical side, I think that I and many other democrats need that man with his good and bad and with his sins, who founded this party, who fought those battles, who built a great road and the Albanian nation came together, that Albania entered NATO, that sacrificed a lot and the fact that only he is persecuted today and no other person is persecuted, for me it shows that he is on the right path. Hard times show real people. And in hard times real people suffer.
From an ethical and historical point of view, many Democrats who might have been against him should have been against him when he was in power, not today when he has 'fallen from the fig tree'. And that shows value. I ran there for the historical figure Berishe, not for the individual Sali Berishe. Berisha is a historical figure that no one can avoid, those who love him and those who don't. His country has a historical position.
As Alizot, it is up to me to at least say a word, a speech, a support for a man who, together with many others in the years 1990, 1991, 1992, initiators of pluralism and changes in Albania, at least the democrats but also those tyrants must be those who support him because he is being persecuted for them.
Ingratitude, to me, is the most murderous act of man, the most shameful act of man. This is the reason why I came up with the idea that after 30 years we should do the same thing again.
This is all political. How they waste time explaining the situation. This is not a legal thing this is a totally political thing.
