Basha gives 'OK' to the salary increase of the judges of the Constitutional Court: DP and our group will vote in favor

The head of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, shortly before the start of the plenary session, declared that the opposition is in favor of increasing the salaries of the judges of the Constitutional Court.

In a statement to the media, Basha said that he will vote in favor of this draft law. According to him, a judiciary with high salaries is more independent from the government.

"Even in the session, our warning group will present arguments. We will not be part of the game of throw the stone and hide the hand. This is one of those bills that deep down no corrupt government would want to pass. A judiciary with high salaries is more independent from the government," said Basha.
