"Projects with multiple strategic impact for the country, such as the autonomous naval base of Porto Romano, the revitalization of the military industry in the country, as well as the political and financial commitments towards NATO, in the constant focus of our strategic partnership with the USA, contributing in strengthening national security and regional stability", said the minister.
Prime Minister Edi Rama at the SP Congress meeting announced 4 changes in the government cabinet, among them the Minister of Defense, a post held by Niko Peleshi. At the head of the Defense Department, Rama proposes Pirro Vëngu, who until now has held the position of Director of the Port of Durrës.
