Opposition MP Dashnor Sula reacted to the serious incident in Pogradec, where Egli Proga lost his life after violence by 29-year-old Denis Meçe, an incident which was initially tried to be hidden.
With the help of a post on the social network "Facebook", Sula has called the accusation brought against the author for "manslaughter by negligence" a scandal.
The deputy says that the strong with immunity took his life and that the institutions failed to prevent the event and provide quick help, but the least they can do, he says, is not to kill him a second time.
Sula has called on KLP, ILD to leave their holidays and investigate the case, as the author must receive the appropriate punishment.

Justice delayed is justice denied! I am reading in the media that the charge brought against the perpetrator who caused the death of the 42-year-old man in Pogradec is "Manslaughter", at a time when the first information and evidence are: the 42-year-old man was brutally raped by the perpetrator.
If these reports are true then this is a scandal. The author should be charged with the following charges: Coercion for taking property and Intentional grievous bodily harm resulting in death. Justice delayed is justice denied, while what is happening in Albania can have no other name than SCANDAL, which deserves the attention of all state institutions, where everyone should bring out those responsible and bring them to justice.
The late 42-year-old Eglantin Proga was a regular family man, who worked two jobs to support his family. But the strong with immunity took his life. Institutions failed to prevent the event and provide quick assistance. Now the least is that the institutions do not "kill" them a second time.
I call on KLP, ILD to leave their vacations and investigate the case. The perpetrator must be punished according to the laws in force.
