Arbjan Mazniku dismissed, Ervin Demo appointed Minister for Local Government

Prime Minister Edi Rama has chosen Ervin Demo as Minister for Local Government, taking over from Arbjan Mazniku.

Rama said that the former mayor of Berat is the right person for this task, considering his work in managing the affairs of the municipality.

Meanwhile, Arbjan Mazniku will take over the leadership of the Commission for Territorial Reform 2.0, a new initiative to review and improve the administrative division and functioning of local government in accordance with current development needs.
