The Mayor of Cerrik, Andis Salla, has been proposed by Prime Minister Edi Rama as Minister of Agriculture.
In his speech, Rama praised Andi Salla's contribution to the municipality of Cerrik.
"I decided to entrust it to a young man from a province who has impressed me with his dedication with modest financial means, has proven with concrete examples that he not only understands, but also feels the village by successfully seeking funding from donors. The Mayor of Cerrik will be the new Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. I know that what I am entrusting him with is a challenge. I believe that young people of few words have the right to be put to strong tests and to believe that persistent work brings the opportunity to advance in their careers ," Rama said.
