The Ministry of Environment will be under the control of Sofjan Jaupaj.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has entrusted Jaupaj with a ministry that will be restored as a portfolio. The Prime Minister further praised Jaupaj's figure.
"Sofjani is among the most passionate Albanians about the Environment. He has climbed the ladder one by one, dedicated, climbing the career ladder and now he is in a trial by fire, at a time when Albania needs to regenerate and protect itself," said Rama.
He emphasized that now more than ever the country needs environmental reform, referring to both tourism and issues such as summer fires.
