The Democratic MP, Agron Gjekmarkaj, commenting on the internal developments in the Democratic Party, has stated that the fights are destroying all possibilities for a revival of the DP.
Through a post on the social network "Facebook", Gjekmarkaj writes that the society and the people who have trusted him do not owe the PD this fight at all, while he added that comical and dramatic events take place in the opposition decision-making centers, which according to him reduce the weight of DP in the eyes of Albanian citizens.
He also said that DP MPs are ignoring citizens' calls for unification and are focusing only on personal interests. According to him, this behavior only serves Prime Minister Rama and did not do the DP's future any good.
" Democrats have been asking their political body for accountability for two years, which is not coming. DP has long been demanding a minimum to start the revival.
It is the foundation union from which its new structure, modernization and space to absorb the needs of society and its representatives should be raised.
Society is waiting for DP. DP society does not work for the personal interests of some individuals. Society does not owe PD. Meanwhile, Albania's perspective requires bridges and not walls for the reconstruction of the opposition. It has a dialectical need to preserve and deepen democratic standards, economic development, and the triumph of justice against corruption.
But in the opposition decision-making centers, comical and dramatic events take place, the nature of which lowers the weight of the "DP" even more in the eyes of the Albanians. Somewhere, a small bunker like a furnace, a little further a bigger one is being prepared, they turn to each other, forgetting the battle with power as well as the need to reinvent the motivational and winning fable. Ignoring the constant calls of public opinion, reasonable voices, supporters, but also the majority of the parliamentary group for the unification of strategies and efforts in the battle with the government, they see only their own minds.
Those few to the point of pain and cheerful in zeal who are trying to grab the symbols as many others who speak of a new parliamentary group beyond the DP group are destroying any possibility of seriousness in our confrontation with the opponent thus building the long-term calm of the Prime Minister which pits them against each other full of fun and joy as each side of the opposition accuses the other of being Edi Rama's servant. Why do you order to die, O wretch, Homer reminds us!!!" , writes Gjekmarkaj.
