The Deputy of the Democratic Party Saimir Korreshi has raised doubts that the new leader of the DP Lulzim Basha cannot be registered as a political subject in the CEC in the Kukës elections.
"Since we tried that new seal, does it register the Candidate?? That there was a lot of paint", writes Korreshi on Facebook.
He refers to the standard set by the CEC for the elections of May 14, where the election of Sali Berisha as chairman was not recognized due to the contestation by the National Council of the Democratic Party, while it was accepted that Lulzim Basha was no longer considered the Chairman of the Democratic Party, despite the confirmation of the court due to resignation.
According to the verifications, the new election made by Basha on July 29 was not sent to the court for registration and therefore has no legal effect. While the National Council of DP convened by the General Secretary canceled the elections for Chairman and sent the decision to the court. Legally today, according to the decision of the National Council, PD does not have a party leader, which makes it impossible to register in the elections.
