Former prime minister Sali Berisha, during the speech from the window of his apartment on 'Mustafa Matohiti' street, addressed the head of the government, Edi Rama, saying that all the agreements he made will be thrown in the trash.
Berisha further said that it will be the Albanian citizens who will do the trial in the dock and that his dream of an Albania without opposition has ended, adding that the opposition is stronger than ever.
"This week has made every Albanian proud. It has helped every Albanian, because the Albanians saw on February 20 what is the magical power of their union. That with their union they exceeded all kinds of predictions. Edi Rama and his suite, his criminal organization, the government were shaken to their foundations. They resonated all over the world.
Therefore, I appeal to you, the missionaries of unification, to do everything, to unite like never before with every Albanian who is ready to fight for his freedom and dignity. With every Albanian who is ready to fight for the national interest of this country and nation.
With every Albanian who is ready to face this regime of crime, drugs and theft of Edi Rama. Edi Rama is deeply shocked to the core. I have said it and I tell you there is no one more cowardly on earth than him. Never forget this.
These last 2-3 days, Edi Rama opens rumors and words that he does not seek another mandate. On the other hand, it hints up and down that he made deals like McGonagall. Now let me tell you. Edi Rama, first of all, no one believes your tricks and any agreement you may have made, we will tear it up and throw it in the trash.
It will be the Albanian citizens who will do the trial in the dock, the trial of history. You have no escape. Your dream of Albania without opposition has come to an end. Albania today has a stronger opposition than ever.
Your supporters, the unopposed Albanians who attack you, who attack the democrats from morning to night, are slaves of the government's criminal organization. They are slaves to their firms, to the crime money with which they protect themselves. Therefore, there is no influence from their shameful, slanderous, deceitful and insulting campaign that they simply represent Edi Rama's lies, the regime's lies, the government's crimes and their own," said Berisha.
